Technology is a learning tool. A pencil and a sheet of paper are learning tools as well. Educator's goal: Finding the correct tool for the correct task.

Student's technology experiences should enhance their learning. Technology is not an "add on". It exists as an integral part of a student's learning process.

Educators should try to bridge the digital gap that exists between a student's technology experiences in the classrooom and out of the classroom. For many students, that gap is rather wide.

Good digital citizenship = positive technology experiences. You can't convince me otherwise.
